England chased down the target of 138 runs to win the title of the 2022 T20 WC by five wickets in the last ball of the 19th over of the game. As England are the winner of the T20 world cup, they will get massive prize money of 13.84 crores. The runners-up Pakistan won the prize money of INR 7.4 crore.
With this win against Pakistan, England became only the second team in history to win the T20 World Cup twice after West Indies.
