Team India captain Rohit Sharma got injured in the 2nd over of the first innings. Rohit returned to the dressing room but missed the rest of Bangladesh’s innings. But at the end of the match in the press conference, Rohit Sharma gives an update on his thumb injury

Shreyas Iyer helped India with 82 runs, and Axar Patel hit 56 runs off 56 balls. Both Shreyas and Axar build a 100+ run partnership. But Shreyas Iyer got out in 35th over and Axar in 39th over.

Rohit revealed in the post-game press conference that although his thumb was not in great shape, he was still able to bat because there was no fracture.
