They won the match by 9 wickets and knocked West Indies out of the tournament. And Ireland got the spot on the super 12.

4. Ireland beat England by 5 runs

Ireland, the competition’s giant killers, defeated tournament hot favourites and nearby neighbours England in the Super 12 round! However, they did benefit from the weather this time as they prevailed by 5 runs win against England in the DLS method, but a win is a win! Skipper Balbirine’s 62 runs helped his team to put a decent total of 157 on the scoreboard. Irish bowlers did the rest of the work as they kept it tight while bowling. Josh Little took two wickets. 5. Zimbabwe beat Pakistan by 1 run

6. Netherlands beat South Africa by 13 runs
